今天看到Jenkins使用了Winstone servlet container，就稍微了解一下什么是java servlet。

其实container就是提供一些常用的web application的功能，程序代码可以直接使用。

例如Jenkins可以将build的结果用邮件通知别人，就是直接使用container提供的发送邮件的功能。
